Trabuco Canyon Trail

Trabuco Canyon Trail is located at Live Oak Canyon Rd Trabuco Canyon, CA 92679 and includes the West Horsethief Trail and the Holy Jim Trails.

The West Horsethief Trail  is a 11.5 mile loop and is the difficulty is rated as difficult. The trail is open year round.

The Holy Jim Trails is 2.8 mile round trip. Make sure you take a hike in these trails because this is where the Holy Jim Falls is located. The trail is open year round.

My bf said there was a fall there so we decided to take a hike (pun intended) with 2 of his friends. Getting there was difficult because there were many pot holes on the dusty road, but luckily we were in a CX5 which was meant for roads like that. It was difficult to find the trail because the trails starts near a steep hill surrounded by trees and bushes. We went the wrong way the first time so we climbed up the steep hill and went back down to another pathway. Here are some pics from the hike. I need to find the pic of the beautiful waterfall. Edit: I just posted a picture of the actual fall and another pic from the trail.
