The Living Desert Palm Desert CA 2013
It was scorching hot when we finally arrived at around 9:00am. How hot you say? Before we got out of the car, the temperature gauge read as 109 degrees! The concrete pavement on the walkway was reflecting so much heat that my face felt like it was burning. I could just feel sweat rolling down my face as if I was inside a sauna. I don’t think I’ve ever been in such a hot weather or sweated as much as I did. Other than that, it was a great day at the park because we finally got to see some animals we couldn’t see last year.
My bf, his parents, and I went to Cabazon after we came back from the Living Desert. We walked around in the heat a little more and shopped. After that, we were all ready for dinner so we went to Ruby’s Diner.

What’s a good place to go when you feel like having a light dinner? Chop Teriyaki is a good place to go when you’re not too hungry but you know you have to eat something. It’s light and it’s healthy.
