We saw The Hitching Post as we were on our way to the Ostrich farm and thought it would be a place to go to for dinner. It’s best that you go to their website https://hitchingpost2.com/restaurant.html and make reservations because you will not be seated right away. My bf and I figured that out after we were waiting there and noticed that every person that came in was seated right away because they made reservations.
Food was surely worth the wait. The waitress suggested the fresh Shelton chicken breast which is high quality chicken from the California desert, oak grilled and still juice which was comparable to Kobe beef. My bf took that suggestion right away and it was a good thing he did because that was the last chicken! I ordered the salad special for that day which was the goat cheese salad.
