I totally forgot it was 4th of July weekend so that explained all the cars from different states like Kentucky, Arizona, and Las Vegas in Newport Beach. The parking lot near the restaurants and the beach was insane as people stopped to see if anyone was leaving. We had to park near the housing area which was fine since there were plenty of parking. It was nice taking a little stroll on the beach and enjoy a Mutt Lynch’s July 4th weekend.
It wasn’t too packed inside the place but people slowly started showing up. My bf, our friend, and I were talking in our normal voice and next thing we knew, we had to speak up since the volume for the tennis game was increased and people were cheering and yelling.
After we ate, we did our usual walk down and pier and glimpse into the fishers bucket to see what they caught. There were a lot more full tubs this time around. I can just imagine they’ll be having their fish dinner tonight. Surfers were out trying to catch the waves but a portion of the beach was closed to surfers since there were a lot of families and beach goers. The weather was quite nice excluding the slight humid weather. Although I wish it wasn’t overcast. But other than that, it was a great day to walk down the beach.
