Hey friends! I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned this but I love anything chicken. Grilled chicken, crispy chicken, chicken salad, I mean chicken everything. So when I heard that The Habit Burger Grill is offering their Golden Chicken Sandwich, I just had to try it out.
For those who have never heard of The Habit Burger Grill, it is a burger-centric, fast casual restaurant concept that specializes in preparing fresh, made-to- order chargrilled burgers and sandwiches featuring USDA choice tri-tip steak, grilled chicken and sushi-grade albacore tuna cooked over an open flame.
I ordered the Golden Chicken Sandwich ($6.25) and the Garlic Herb fries and another Golden Chicken Sandwich to-go for “G” to try. This awesome sandwich starts with a fresh, filleted chicken breast that is hand-dipped into house-made seasoned flour and buttermilk,not just once but twice, before being fried to perfection and custom made to order. No wonder the Golden Chicken is extra crunchy and flavorful and keeps all the juiciness! I especially love the new spicy red pepper sauce. Can I get a sauce container to take home? The sandwich is served with fresh sliced tomato, crisp lettuce and tangy pickles on a soft toasted bun. I mean, everything about this chicken sandwich was amazing.
As my side order, I got the Garlic Herb Fries. There was a sign for it and it looked mighty tasty. One bite and you just can’t stop. It’s so flavorful, not as garlicky as I expected, but it was delish! “G” tried it and was amazed as well.
I forgot to mention, make sure you’re able to take a big bite out of the sandwich because it’s filled with lots of yummy goodness!
In conclusion, it’s a Winner, Winner to eat the Golden Chicken Sandwich for dinner! Or whenever. Get it before it’s gone because it’s for a limited-time only!
