Why does the weekend have to fly so quickly? But I’m not the only one with the Monday blues. I’m just glad work allows us to leave at 2 on Fridays. I forget the name of that one 80’s song…perhaps it’s called”working for the weekend”.
The weekend was great though. My bf and I made whole wheat bread from scratch! It came out amazing and tastes amazing too.
We also made boxed breads that came out amazing. This was our first bread we made which was the Krusteaz brand Sour dough bread.

On a side note, we spotted this beautiful butterfly in my bf’s backyard on Saturday. Luckily I was able to grad my phone cam just in time to get a pic of it.
June 1, 2013, my bf was craving chili! I was glad he was because it was delicious. What else would go well with it? Of course, corn bread! Corn bread and chili really complements each other. We used Krusteaz Honey Corn Bread mix.
We spotted this wine at Ralph’s the other day while trying to look for Coriander seeds. My bf suggested that white wine would go well with pasta and we were planning to have pasta for dinner. He also got the electronic wine opener so we wanted to test it out.
I was really excited to try this wine since it was from Napa Valley and that place is known to have a huge selection of wine and is THE wine tasting destination. It did not disappoint me. I’m not a wine expert but the taste was familiar so I was content about the way it tasted.
