Weekend Wrap-Up: Lego Store To See The Simpsons Lego, Shopping, And Great Eats

Hi friends! So I just noticed that Wednesday was my last post…I was planning to post for Thursday and Friday but life took over for a bit. But anywho, here’s a Weekend Wrap-Up!

Here was Thursday’s dinner at Dave & Busters for a holiday party. The food was just appetizer items such as pretzel bites, pizza bites, sliders, chicken, chips & salsa, desserts, and healthy options such as carrots, mushrooms, bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, and carrots.

Lots of fruits, a tortilla, eggs, bacon, half of a chocolate croissant, fruit parfait, and berry infused water which I didn't take a picture of since it looked like plain water. [caption id="attachment_17467" align="alignnone" width="600"] KeVita Master Brew Kombucha[/caption] As I took a stroll around the shopping center, I was thirsty and picked up a new kombucha brand called KeVita. It was cheaper than the Synergy brand at Vons so I decided to try this and liked it. [caption id="attachment_17455" align="alignnone" width="600"] Most expensive Organic Salad[/caption] I started my mall wanderings around lunch time but I wanted to sit down and grab lunch. I originally wanted to go to Nordstrom Cafe but boy was it packed! So I been staring at this one restaurant in the middle of the mall for the longest and decided to try it. [caption id="attachment_17465" align="alignnone" width="600"] The Simpsons Lego[/caption] Oh you know what was awesome? I found a Lego Store at the South Coast Plaza mall! After eating lunch at a restaurant I forget the name of (gasp), I went for a walk and found out about this place. I've been checking Amazon.com for The Simpsons Lego set and you won't believe how expensive it is. It's around $200! Geez, hopefully one day these plastic pieces will be more affordable. [caption id="attachment_17466" align="alignnone" width="600"] Cost Plus Chocolate Selection[/caption] Every Friday, I always make a stop to my favorite store, Cost Plus World Market. I just adore all the unique chocolate variety. [caption id="attachment_17459" align="alignnone" width="600"] Fruit Cake made by a friend[/caption] My friend made me this delicious fruit cake. I love the way she made it because it wasn't too sweet and paired nicely with coffee. [caption id="attachment_17458" align="alignnone" width="600"] Ferrero Rocher and Godiva Chocolates[/caption] Mmmm, the holidays mean chocolates! I've been on chocolate overload lately like Godiva chocolates and Ferrero Rocher. [caption id="attachment_17454" align="alignnone" width="600"] Godiva Chocolate Covered strawberries[/caption] I went window shopping at Godiva and saw these beautifully presented strawberries. There are dark, milk, and white chocolate selections. [caption id="attachment_17475" align="alignnone" width="600"] Black Eyed Pee Fritter Panini[/caption]   Friday night, we celebrated a friend's birthday at a place called Bosscat Kitchen & Libations. [caption id="attachment_17468" align="alignnone" width="600"] Lee's Sandwich Banh Mi Chicken[/caption] Saturday morning was supposed to be breakfast but it was too late for that. I had the chicken banh mi sandwich. Haven't had that since the longest time! [caption id="attachment_17469" align="alignnone" width="600"] Lee's Sandwich Pork Bun[/caption] I also had a pork bun, iced Americano, and the Deli Manjoo which is a tiny corn shaped pastry.
