Vons Bakery Goods

A few weeks ago, I had to drop by Vons with "G" to pick up a few things for a get together with friends. We needed some mini slider buns and salsa and as we were looking for the buns, I decided to check the Vons Bakery goods and see what they had to offer. Once I saw it, I was staring at it like a kid at a candy store. Then I realized that I should take pictures instead of just staring at it. [caption id="attachment_18267" align="alignnone" width="600"] Vons sugar glazed waffles[/caption] I'm a sucker for anything that's related to waffles. I love waffles for breakfast such as the ones from Roscoe’s Chicken And Waffles and Bruxie and I love sweet waffles such as the Daelmans Jumbo Waffles, Belgian Liege Waffles, and the ones shown above. I tried the waffles from Fresh & Easy and it tastes amazing with coffee. [caption id="attachment_18305" align="alignnone" width="600"] Vons donut and chocolate covered waffles[/caption] Look, they even have chocolate covered waffles. Yuummm. [caption id="attachment_18304" align="alignnone" width="600"] Vons Apple Danish[/caption] Here are some Apple Danish as well as the Raspberry Danish that's tried to photobomb the Apple Danish. The Danish looks crispy like a croissant but looks soft in the center from the sweet apples and cream cheese. [caption id="attachment_18270" align="alignnone" width="600"] Vons chocolate muffins[/caption] Who can say no to Vons Chocolate Muffins? Just look how much bits of chocolate chips are on the muffins! A chocolate lover's dream. [caption id="attachment_18269" align="alignnone" width="600"] Vons pig shaped cookies (Marranitos)[/caption] I was surprised to see these cute pig shaped cookies called Marranitos here at Vons. I only see these at the Mexican grocery store, but the Vons I went to had them! I tried these the first time at The Ranch market so check out my review here: Mexican Pastries You Need To Know About! [caption id="attachment_18268" align="alignnone" width="600"] Vons muffins[/caption] Here are more muffins but I can't seem to tell what they are. I should have checked the sign to see what it was. It looks like it could be Pumpkin with raisins. What do you guys think? Ah perhaps it's gingerbread muffin? [caption id="attachment_18264" align="alignnone" width="600"] Vons chocolate sprinkled donut[/caption] Yummy, you can see this Vons chocolate sprinkled donut is very popular as there is only one left! Plus who can resist a chocolate glazed sprinkled donut right? Sprinkled ones are my all time favorite.  😉  Which sweet pastries are your favorite?
