CHIP WARS: Trader Joe’s Sweet Potato Chips VS Food Should Taste Goods Sweet Potato Chips

When it comes to sweet potato, I love everything about it. I always had baked sweet potato with nothing added to it. Once the potato is baked and left in the oven for a while, the natural sweetness of the vegetable comes out and even caramelizes it which almost seem like brown sugar was added. It contains a high level of vitamin A which is good for eye sight and is high in fiber. Compared to its cousin the potato, sweet potatoes are far more nutritious and low in calories. It’s orange flesh also means it’s a good source of beta-carotene, but not all sweet potatoes are orange. It can also be yellow or even purple.
It was until recently that I’ve discovered sweet potato chips. I love chips and what better way to feel less guilty than to eat sweet potato and not as much of tortilla or potato chips. That’s why I wanted to post about Trader Joe’s Sweet Potato Chips VS Food Should Taste Goods Sweet Potato Chips.

What I liked about Trader Joe's Sweet Potato chips is that it was actual wedge slices of the sweet potato that was baked with oil. It was literally like eating sweet potato. There were no other seasoning covering up the taste.

Food Should Taste Good's Sweet Potato chips were interesting because I was expecting it to be actual slices of sweet potato like the Trader Joe's brand yet it was a tortilla chip texture which tasted like sweet potato. I liked it because you get best of two worlds, the sweet potato and tortilla.
