Town Restaurant is a go to breakfast place for many locals or visitors such as myself. You can clearly tell it’s a popular place because it was early in the morning with people enjoying their glass of mimosas and chatting away. The waiters and waitresses were hurrying around trying to take orders and serving the dishes and unfortunately, a whole shelf of wine glasses toppled over and broke as one of the waitresses tried to save it but actually ended up not going as planned.
She quickly let the wine glasses go and still placed a smile on her face. As we were looking through the menu she suggested some items like the pomegranite drink where the ice cube is actually made of pomegranite juice. It was tangy and tasty.
I’ve always wanted to go to Roscoe Chicken and Waffles so when I saw that Town Restaurant had chicken and waffle, I had to get it! The serving of chicken breast was large, but was fried just right. I tried Bruxies waffles and thought it had the right amount of fluff and mass, but the waffle here was just like the waffles you make at home. Very heavy and thick.
The breakfast sandwich was quite tasty.
