The restaurant is hidden by the gift shops on the opposite sides. You would have to walk into the hallway and you will notice it’s a restaurant. As we signed in our names to be sweated, you can check out the gift shops since it takes a while to be seated.
We stopped at The Trapper Grill to get something to eat before we headed out for a full day’s worth of hiking. The food was plain but it was enough to keep us full until our late lunch.

I ordered the buttermilk pancakes, but it wasn’t the right texture, It wasn’t cooked long enough for the cake was too soft and wasn’t golden brown. The butter that melted on the pancakes just made the pancake a bit soggy. The eggs were watery and was too milky for my taste.

I ordered tea because it was cold.

The bf ordered the chicken and gravy and it looked like it came right out of a can. Even he didn’t like it.

What is great about the restaurant is all the pictures on the wall where a bison’s face was covered with snow, a beautiful sun setting with the Grand Tetons in the back and other park animals. Another thing you will enjoy is the view you get from the window because you will see the beautiful lake and the mountains.

I’m unsure if I’d be back here for breakfast, but I would give them another change. Perhaps they were having a bad day and didn’t pay attention to our food.
