Happy Tuesday friends! Here’s a post on the Second Day in Jackson Wy! After having a wonderful breakfast at The Bunnery it was time to get on the road and check out the park. It was a beautiful day in Jackson and The Grand Tetons as the birds were chirping, the clouds were big and fluffy, and we saw a lot of animal activity especially at the Mormon Cabins. The gray clouds were rolling in but we snapped as much picture as we could before it started pouring.
It was such an exciting time to come to The Tetons during the spring. Wildflowers were quickly blossoming and typically blossoms from May to September. Jackson’s official wild flower is the Alpine forget-me-not. There are so much wildflowers at The Grand Tetons and to learn more you can find out here.
I recommend anyone going to The Grand Tetons to drive through the Mormon Row. It’s an amazing place to learn about the history of the cabins, take scenic shots of the Tetons, observe bison activity and baby bison during the spring time, and chipmunks.
Last year the Jenny Lake was so low that the ferry wasn’t in session. But this year the water was full, blue, and full of activities from people enjoying the scenery, the ferry was going by, and animal activity.
