HHuntington Beach area is especially busy around the weekend with beach goers, people hanging out and walking, eating at the many restaurants in the area, and so it gets difficult to take it slow and check things out. You will notice The Funnel House when you smell it, if not see it.
That’s how I knew about this place because something smelled like Churros and cinnamon! I’m a big sucker for churros, funnel cake, and ice cream so when I took notice of the cakes and churros getting deep-fried I just had to check it out. They have authentic hand-made churros and you can make it into what they call a Mike’s Churro Sundae which is ice cream, caramel sauce and whipped cream.
As you walk in you will notice the ice cream selections such as coffee, cookies n cream, vanilla, and mint chocolate.
There’s even a big selection of cookies because guess what? You can build your own ice cream sandwich! Yes you can make your own ice cream sandwiches smashed between two cookies of your choice,
There’s also other baked treats like coffee cake, banana bread, brownie, brownie sundae, and drinks.
Not only can you make your own ice cream sandwich but also order Funnel Cakes like one with powder sugar, fruit, or make it into a sundae, and top it with whipped bream!
After Dessert…
We headed out to walk around Main street and to check out the pier.
What I was wearing for the beach…
I wore Coach heels, had a Coach purse, brown top from Charlotte Russe, and a skirt from the thrift shop!
The Funnel House is located at 205 Main St Huntington Beach, CA 92648.
