Thai Nakorn Restaurant is located at 12532 Garden Grove Blvd Garden Grove, CA 92843. Many years ago, my friend “W”s parents owned a Thai restaurant which was where I first had Thai food and where I fondly remember how sweet Thai tea was to the point it gave me a headache. I didn’t like Thai tea at the time nor the food, but like many say, our taste in food changes as we grow up. I was somewhat reintroduced to Thai food because my bf told me about a popular Thai restaurant in Garden Grove called Thai Nakorn.

I was excited to try Thai tea at an actual Thai restaurant and not a Vietnamese pho restaurant, where my bf and I usually got it. But that Pho restaurant will be in another post 🙂 I was surprised at the decor in the restaurant because I thought it was much more fancy than I had expected. The outside of the building didn’t look inviting. The waiter came by to our table and asked what we wanted. For sure, my bf and I agreed we’d have Thai tea and for the entree, we weren’t sure. So the waiter suggested a salad dish which came with beef with a side of spicy sour salad.

Have you been to this restaurant? What’s your Thai dish of choice?
