Do you love tea or coffee? I would have to say I love both but I would choose coffee over tea. But of course there are times I need to take a break from coffee so I’d rather have tea. Tea time has been around for so many years and it’s great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. After “G” and I went to get Shin Sen Gumi, we just had to grab something sweet. I suggested ice cream, yogurt, or boba and we both agreed on boba.
There's a small tea shop called Tea Party Lounge in Fountain Valley CA and is fairly new. I've been here last year and we all loved it. Then I remember my friend "J" telling me that one of her friend owns the place! What a complete coincidence. She told me she's been here before as well to support.
Check out my last visit!
A Quiet Hangout Place While Sipping On Boba Tea & Enjoying Snacks- Tea Party Lounge
I think I know why it's called Tea Party Lounge because they play loud music as if you're at a lounge. There are plenty of seats, two big TVs, and even magazines to look at while you wait. It's pretty empty when we were here but it was still an enjoyable place to sit down, drink out tea, and talk. I couldn't decide what to order because they have a big list of drinks from milk tea, slushy, and even protein shakes. "G" pointed out the Matcha Green Tea Milk Tea so I asked the cashier that I wanted the Matcha Green Tea Milk Tea. Then she says if I'd want it to be pressed with or without the tea leaves. Then it got me thinking that I wouldn't want to eat tea leaves while I'm drinking my milk tea so I asked for without it. [caption id="attachment_14769" align="alignnone" width="600"] Green Tea[/caption] When I got my order I was sad to see it was just plain Green Tea. I don't know where the miscommunication happened but after my first sip of the tea it was refreshing. [caption id="attachment_14771" align="alignnone" width="600"] Avocado Smoothie[/caption] Plus "G" got the Avocado Smoothie which was good enough for the both of us. Its rich and creamy and really has a more authentic avocado flavor compared to the one at Lee's Sandwich. I still don't mind the one from Lee's though.
For small eats check out their appetizer selections. They have popcorn chicken, fried tofu, chicken wings, Cajun fries and tater tots and calamari.. If you're in for a meal they offer Fish & Chips, Pho (Vietnamese Noodles), Noodles, Fried Rice Bowl, Po'Boy Shrimp Sandwich, and Chicken Curry. For the drinks and sweets they have Green Waffles,Show fluff, Ice Slush, Specialty Drink such as the Fitness Drink made with protein powder and Flavored Milk Tea of course. By the list of their food and drinks selections I'm really impressed. It somewhat your typical boba shop but I've never seen so much food items on a menu,
Plus they even make platters. I would love to try out their appetizers here and check them out. Tea Party Lounge is located at 16173 Brookhurst St, Fountain Valley, CA 92708.
