The atmosphere is casual filled with tourists during lunch hours and a big window for people watching and enjoying the sunlight.
This isn’t your sit down and order type a place, but instead you walk up to the counter where you order and pay there. I just ordered the Taco Meal $6.95 where you get to choose two tacos and it comes with rice and beans. What two tacos did I choose? I chose the chicken and fish. I would’ve went with two chicken taco but I decided to be adventurous and try the fish.
Don’t expect your ordered to be delivered anytime soon because when I was here there was only 1 staff serving. There was a group sitting behind us and they have been sitting there for quite some time and our party got some of their orders while that other party still didn’t. Thought the wait was long, I was satisfied with my tacos. I didn’t care much for the black beans topped with melted cheese nor the dry Mexican rice.
I tried the fish taco first and my gosh, the fish was fried to perfection and the tartar sauce really complemented it. I wished I ordered two, but the shredded chicken tacos was tasty as well. The chicken was seasoned just right and the texture was almost that of pulled pork. Super moist, juicy, and tender.
“G” ordered the Firewood Bacon, mushroom, and Swiss burger and fries $8.95. It had mushrooms, avocado, and other good stuff on it and looked real good!
