Sugar Factory is located at 3655 Las Vegas Blvd S Las Vegas, NV 89109 on The Strip. To get there, it’s probably best to park at the Paris parking structure and walk to the place.
Every time I’ve been to Vegas, I wanted to go into the Sugar Factory and see it for myself. It was not what I have expected with all the interesting candy related items, the gelato shop, and a whole lot more. There’s even a Sugar Factory Restaurant that’s attached to it!
I remembered seeing a TV special on this place and all I can recall is that they sell expensive Hello Kitty lollipop which is quite unnecessary. Unless you have a daughter that’s screaming to get her one.
At Sweet Factory, you can’t look past the huge selection of candy where you just scoop your tiny plastic bag in no time and not thinking about the amount of candy and if you’ll be able to finish it or not. I caught myself scooping up so much candy in my bag until my bf asked if I really wanted that much. Glad he told me hehe. You can choose to buy a bag of candy by the weight, by the clear box which is around $15, or the classic looking candy container for about $18 so choose wisely.
What is nonpareils? I was asking the same thing, Nonpareils [are a decorative confectionery of tiny balls made with sugar and starch, traditionally an opaque white but now available in many colors. Their origin is uncertain, but they may have evolved out of the pharmaceutical use of sugar, as they were a miniature version of comfits.[1] The French name has been interpreted to mean they were “without equal” for intricate decoration of cakes, desserts, and other sweets, and the elaborate pièces montées constructed as table ornament The term nonpareil can also refer to a specific confection made using nonpareils, namely, flat discs of chocolate…] coated with nonpareils, which are also known as chocolate nonpareils.
Check out these rock candies! Every time I went to Knotts Berry Farm, I just had to have one. Now when I see any, it reminds me of Breaking Bad. So if you ever decide to host a Breaking Bad themed party, serve some rock candies YO!
Don’t you just admire the details on the sticky mix or is it just me? I would love to see how these were made.
I remember when these Harry Potter jelly beans were first released when it was such a popular movie. I recall how horrible the fart, booger, and the other disgusting names tasted.
I’ve seen these at two other candy shops I’ve been to. It’s fun to look at but definitely not one to get for a kid. They’ll eat it all!
I tried one because my bf loves it and I thought it tasted like the Bolis Mexican ice cream sticks!
I rarely eat Oreo but somehow these were calling to me. Glad I got it because the layer of chocolate coating was thick and every last bite of the cookie was savored.
You will find lots of Halloween themed candy and items around the store.
Introducing the main attraction according to the TV special that I watched! The Hello Kitty lollipop which is highly overpriced! Around $25…
Don’t forget to check out their gelato shop where you can choose from many different flavors. And if you’re craving cookies and brownies, there are some there too.
Keep a look out for cute plushies and figurines and also other food related items!
