Happy Wednesday friends! It’s another day for What I Ate Wednesday. I woke up to the sunshine, err I mean the sound of the rain, but it sure was nice sleeping in. The mornings and nights are getting much colder so I finally took out my heated blanket. I slept like a baby because of that. 🙂
Since it was a chilly morning I made myself some coffee in my favorite Starbucks Mug. I got this cup I believe 2 years ago when the whole, make every bottle and coffee to-go into glass.
Check out my YouTube vid of What I Ate Wednesday!
I toasted my toast with peanut butter, oatmeal topped with banana and blueberries and coffee. I just love the smell of coffee in the mornings, don’t you? This breakfast was nice and filling as I needed all the energy to beat the mall crowds haha.
I got back home just in time for lunch. For lunch I had a bowl of mixed rice (wild rice maybe?) which is probably healthier than brown rice, a bowl of warm kimchi chigae which is Korean tofu soup with fermented cabbage, and seasoned seaweed lavers. Did you know that seaweed is full of iodine which is a mineral we’re missing in our diet?

After setting up the xmas tree and wrapping gifts, it was time for dinner. Earlier I baked some kabocha squash since they're finally in season, another bowl of wild rice, little bit of kimchi, and seaweed lavers.

For a late night snack, I made some hot cocoa in one of my favorite mug that states "Life is short, buy the shoes". Instead I bought sweaters and not the shoes!

While I was editing my YouTube vids and blogging, I had to have some Ghirardelli and Trader Joe's Dark Chocolates. Nothing puts me in a better mood than chocolates. What about you guys? 🙂
