Spirulina Energy Bar is by a brand called “Go Raw” and their motto is “Real Live Food”. I can see why it’s real live food because it’s non GMO, certified organic, certified Kosher, vegan, and gluten-free. This product was found at Fresh & Easy Market and is for a $1 each which is quite expensive for such a tiny bar, but it was worth trying it out. The first bite into this bar is nothing you would imagine. It looks as though it’s a soft texture that can be easily bit into but it’s almost rock solid. But not rock solid in a bad way. It’s tough to eat but it’s tough to chew so it prevents you from chowing it down so fast and allows you to really savor each bite. There’s healthy delicious ingredients in this energy bar such as organic sprouted sesame seeds, organic bananas, organic coconut, organic dates, and organic spirulina which gives it the deep green color.
There’s a great banana flavor and has just the right amount of sweetness from the banana and dates. Start your day with this bar to get the nutrients you need as well as the energy. You can even stash these in your desk or purse to enjoy in between meals so you don’t over eat when it’s time for dinner.
