After we ate breakfast at the Hadsten House Restaurant “G” and I wanted to take a walk and check out the cute little village.

As we were walking around town after breakfast, we saw this place. We stood outside the window looking into the kitchen where they were preparing the golden circular pancakes. Just looking at the Danish pancake and smelling it drew us in even though we were full from breakfast. "G" told me about the famous ebelskiver and said that we had to try it. He told me it was similar to pancakes but it wasn't the same. We wanted it topped with raspberry jam, powdered sugar and a scoop of ice cream. [caption id="attachment_15817" align="alignnone" width="600"] Aebleskiver and sausage[/caption] The waiter even suggested the the Danish sausage with a side of homemade mustard was a popular item so we also ordered that too.
