Hello everyone! This is a late post but I’ll share it anyways. We went here few weekends ago but I totally forgot to share this with you all. We were at the first day of The Safari Park Tiger Trail opening so it was a pretty darn good feeling knowing that we were able to experience it. There were a lot of renovation from what I can recall from last year, It felt like 2014 would never arrive and next thing you know this whole amazing Tiger Trail was all set and ready to go. The area where the tigers are living was big, grassy, and just like something from the Amazon. I really thought the park did a very good job in making their habitat just the way they live and how spacious it was. What’s great about the park is that it’s not like a zoo where the animals are caged up. Instead the wild animals are free to roam around the huge field of grassland, trees, ponds, rocks, and so much more.
It was difficult to get good shots of the tigers at first but once the crowd showed up, the tiger were being more active and less shy. We caught two tigers playing rough and it was interesting to imagine they act very similar to house cats.
Not only the tigers were the attractions but also the rhinos, giraffe, gorillas, lions, the many different bird species, ducks, goats, and unique animals as well. The lion’s exhibit was totally renovated as well. The male lion was active as well as the females and it was quite a treat to hear them roaring.
