Reunion Kitchen + Drink

I decided to have my birthday a few days back and had to think of something quick. What did I do? I grabbed my phone and starting looking up restaurants in the area and there it was. Reunion Kitchen + Drink. The table was reserved for 8:30pm but didn't get seated until close to 9. The hostess was very apologetic that the party before us had been there for quite some time and was expecting them to leave. My friends curiousro and "M" are just like me because we love to check out Yelp and see which food item looks good. [caption id="attachment_19077" align="alignnone" width="600"] Rosemary's Chicken & Biscuits[/caption] I originally wanted the salmon place, until I saw this Rosemary's Chicken & Biscuits! Omg the fried chicken is so good. There was a lot more fried breading than the actual chicken but I still enjoyed it. It's very flavorful, crispy, and the gravy sauce over it make it that much better. You can't really see the mashed potatoes but there was a lot of it. I couldn't finish it all since I was already getting so stuffed. The biscuit is really huge which I also couldn't finish. I didn't think it was anything that special about it though. The brocolini was really tasty though, steamed perfectly to balance the hardy dish with some greens. I saw it on the menu and told him about and that's what he ordered. The cheese bread was good too, I really liked the crispy cheese on the bread. [caption id="attachment_19074" align="alignnone" width="600"] Dad's Filet Mignon $37[/caption] "J" ordered the Dad's Filet Mignon which she really liked. She didn't care for her asparagus so I took a few and they were okay. I think the ones "G" and I make are better since we don't roast them for too long and we add a lot of pepper. [caption id="attachment_19073" align="alignnone" width="600"] Cosmopolitan[/caption] I ordered one of my favorite drinks which is the Cosmopolitan. It wasn't anything special but I did like the bits and pieces of crushed ice in it. [caption id="attachment_19072" align="alignnone" width="600"] Whisky and round ice[/caption] Curiousro ordered the whisky on ice! [caption id="attachment_19071" align="alignnone" width="600"] Almond Hefeweizen[/caption] "G" ordered the Almond Hefeweizen and guess what? It really smells and taste like almonds.
