What I Ate Wednesday! Featuring Eats At Quickly

Hi friends! I know the title says What I Ate Wednesday even though it’s Thursday but I find it really difficult to actually post on a Wednesday. But anyways here it is! The featured place I want to share with you guys is Quickly which is a Taiwanese (I believe) coffee & tea place and then I’ll talk about Pieology on a later post.

I went to go meet a friend of mine whom I haven’t seen for over a month so I was checking for a place near me that would be open at least past 7! After many Yelp searches, I finally discovered this spot which is opened until 11pm. I believe this place is next to the Blizzard Gaming Company so that’s why I saw a lot of people with badges showing up at this place. Also, the place is located in a business plaza which is totally unexpected but you’ll be surprised at how many other restaurants are in here. The place was pretty empty when we arrived so my friend and I just took our time and stared at their fairly large menu.

I was pretty overwhelmed by their menu selection but they do have a lot to choose from. Did you know they have Ramen Burger here too!? I saw a few hungry people chowing down on it. I was interested in the Ramen Burger but I wasn’t THAT hungry for it. I ordered the Almond Milk Tea which wasn’t anything too special.

Oh you guys need to try this Mini Egg Waffles $3.75. Not sure why they called it mini because it sure didn’t look like it (felt like a fatty with all the food) . I remember seeing someone post a picture of this waffle and I just had to try it. That’s the main reason why I chose this place other than the fact that they open late. Glad I did because this waffle is so yummy.

I also ordered the Steak Tacos which was so so. There was too much tendons and not enough steak. Meh. My friend ordered the Truffle fries $2.95 and the Spam Musubi $2.50 which was pretty disappointing because they took forever on the order and there was barely any Spam, all rice and it fell apart  =(

They're more Slow than Quick, but it's definitely a cool place to hangout, for  cheap eats and also for the Mini Egg Waffles! Next time I'll order the Green Tea Egg Waffle topped with ice cream! Quickly is located at 16277 Laguna Canyon Rd Ste D Irvine, CA 92618 as well as many other locations.
