Pure Bar is a healthy way to snack which is certified non-GMO and is organic. With so much granola bars out there, it’s getting more and more difficult to make the right choice as they are packed with sugar and un-healthy fats.
The Ancient Grain was surprisingly tasty. I expected it just taste like molasses but it had the right amount of sweetness, texture, and crunch. You could taste the richness from healthy grains like quinoa, amaranth, flax and hemp.
I was excited to try the Chocolate Brownie, but it was a disappointment. Most of the chocolate bars I’ve tried ends up tasting like sugar alcohol and flavorless, which is what I found this to be. It’s made of organic dates, organic walnuts, organic agave nectar, organic almonds, organic cashews, organic brown rice protein, organic cocoa so I can’t complain. If I could choose any chocolate bars, it would be Pure’s brand.
There are also many other fruit and nut bar flavors such as Banana Coconut, Chocolate Chunk Nut, Triple Berry Nut, Dark Chocolate Berry, Wild Blueberry, Cherry Cashew, Apple Cinnamon, and Cranberry Orange.
When you’re about to go to the cookie jar of afternoon snacking, instead, try their fruit and veggie strip that comes in Strawberry Apple and Wild berry Apple flavors. Also, their Fruit Sandwich, Pineapple & Passion Fruit and Strawberry & Banana is a smart way to snack. They’re made of fruit juices and puree which is non-GMO, organic, flavors or preservatives and has no artificial sweeteners.
