But what about Korean Seafood dishes? If you’ve never tried it before there’s a place in Redondo Beach CA that’s getting all the buzz and attention.
Redondo Beach Pier is full of activities such as entertainment, live bands, dessert spots and affordable dining spots as well as pricey for any taste buds. That’s where the pricey comes in which is a Korean Seafood joint called Pacific Fish Center & Restaurant. It’s a casual environment serving fresh-from-the-market Korean style seafood. They’ve been around for years so don’t think you missed out if you just found out about it such as myself. Seafood here is fresh and you can just taste how fresh it is.
Not only do you get delicious seafood but also a fantastic view of the pier.Prices range from $31-60 but if you’re a true seafood lover you will splurge.
Like many Korean restaurants you will get a side dish of kimchi. Then you get two types of sauce, one is melted butter and the other is a Korean spicy and sweet sauce which is the best!
People are raving about the Fried Calamari, Dungeness Crabs, Sashimi plate, Oysters, live shrimp, and clam chowder just to name a few.
The Korean Spicy Fish Soup has a pretty good kick so be sure you’re ready for it. It’s made with chunky fish, veggies, mushroom, and a spicy broth which will warm and sooth you even though it may be hot and humid outside.
Here’s a tip on what you’ll get when you order the Dungeness King Crab. Order the Dungeness Crab and you get Whole Dungeness crabs and a wooden Mallot to break open! You even get a white bib because it will get messy and be careful with the person sitting next to you as you might find crab shells flying across you. My friends and I ordered just 3 to feed 4 people and that was more than enough!
