If you want authentic Danish baked goods…Olsen’s Danish Village Bakery is the place to be!

Olsen’s Danish Village Bakery is located at 1529 Mission Dr  Solvang, CA 93463 which is owned by Bent and Susy Olsen since the 1970’s who owns the bakery and where Bent maintains it much like the way it began with his great-grandfather’s recipe. I went to Solvang earlier this year and I had a great experience there.

Olsen’s Danish Village Bakery offers many delectable baked goods and one of their popular item is the cookie tub assortment. Each tub contain 5 dozen cookies with 6 different flavor, almond, coconut, oatmeal, chocolate vanilla swirl and cinnamon.

If you want to bring something to serve at a family gathering,  the office, or to other special events, the cookie tub is perfect as it’s delicious and a perfect way to tell everyone all about your Solvang adventures!

I tried the chocolate vanilla swirl and almond butter cookie and it just brought back memories of my childhood eating Royal Dansk from the memorable blue tin. It was buttery with the crunchiness from the sugar crystals and brought back a nostalgic feeling from when I was a kid. 🙂

Don’t think that’s all that Olsen’s Danish Village Bakery has to offer because they even have Traditional Danish Almond Custard kringle, onion cheese bread, Cardamon Bread, 7- Sister Butter Ring Coffee Cake, wedding cakes, birthday cakes, and their famous Danish cake called the Kransekage. If you can’t make it to Solvang, you could order some of the baked items online and have it shipped in two days.
