Popular Newport Beach Hangout: Mutt Lynch’s

If I had all the time in the world I would spend some time at the beach from morning to dawn. I find it enjoyable watching people jogging, walking their dog, standing in line for donuts, and just sight-seeing. Just the sound of the waves and seagulls squawking is somewhat relaxing. Grab some breakfast at the beach, pick up a sandwich for lunch and enjoy it on the sand, eat some ice cream or a treat for dessert, and for dinner you can enjoy a meal at an ocean front restaurant. [caption id="attachment_14747" align="alignnone" width="600"] Fishing poles[/caption] The beach is free (excluding parking) and so relaxing so what more could you ask for. One thing I could ask is a breakfast joint in Newport Beach CA called Mutt Lynch's. It's a popular hangout spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Who says you can't have a Bloody Mary or beer for breakfast. When you're here, no one looks are you strangely if you order a big schooner of beer with your pancakes, omelet, or hash brown. Everyone is just busy talking, sipping coffee, checking out what's on TV, and enjoying each others company. [caption id="attachment_14731" align="alignnone" width="600"] Coffee[/caption] Did you know Mutt Lynch's has been OC's #1 dice bar since 1976!? I thought it was a cool fact. I remember coming here last year during one of those cold winter mornings but I didn't mind because I had my warm coffee to warm me up. Sunday at Mutt was gloomy but around 10:00 am, the clouds cleared up and I took some beautiful shots of the beach. [caption id="attachment_14733" align="alignnone" width="600"] Mutt Lynch's Omelet[/caption] I noticed they still have their summer menu specials so be sure to check it out before it's gone. My typical breakfast orders are BLT, pancakes, French Toast, and of course coffee but I wanted to make my own omelet. I had an omelet last time and remembered how much I liked it so I wanted to order it again but instead get BACON and Provolone Cheese. [caption id="attachment_15005" align="alignnone" width="600"] Corned beef hash[/caption] "G" and "T" ordered the corned beef hash and of course a schooner of Hefeweizen.
