Milk Bar was under construction the last time “G” and I passed by this area after eating dinner at Shin Sen Gumi. There is also another tea bar that just opened next to it called Fusion Bar which we wanted to try but we’ll go there the next time. I wanted to check out Milk Bar since it just opened. The inside of the place look pretty empty as they just opened and I admire the art work on the right side of the walls. There was only two staff and one other customer. We saw their ice cream selection and then the girl working there was quite attentive as she asked if we wanted to try samples. I tried Nutella and thought it was tasty, but I really expected more of the hazelnut flavor which I didn’t taste at all. That was a disappointment. So then I was off to my next flavor sample.
I asked to try the Coffee Cookies and Cream and it was AWESOME! It was exactly like Cookies & Cream yet there was just bigger cookie chunks and had the delicious coffee flavor! Do you think coffee ice cream has caffeine in it? I always wonder about that.
Anyways I ordered a scoop of the Coffee Cookies and Cream with the waffle cone. I expected the waffle cone to be sturdy like your typical cone but this particular one was very light and crispy. So light that it had to be served with this cone paper since once the ice cream melts, then it would start dripping from the bottom. It was delicious as it was golden brown, crispy and tasted like honey. Since it’s really thin they serve the cones with cone paper which was the way to go since the ice cream would’ve dripped all over.
“G” tasted just one sample which was the Walnut Banana and he made his decision right away. He knew that was it and he also got a scoop on the light and crispy waffle cone.

There’s one with lots of fruit toppings and has a cool melted chocolate effect. Then to the right of it is a cute Teddy Bear cake. You can’t tell from this picture but it’s a bear.
Left cake is an Oreo lover’s dream as it’s topped with many Oreo cookies and drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce. You might even be able to add more Oreo cookies if you’d like. The right cake is yellow and brown. The yellow part looks quite messy but the top looks awesome with what looks like brownie with crushed walnuts.
These three cakes is something for the birthday princess. The two front cakes are topped with macaroon cookies and then drizzled with chocolate and topped with sprinkles. And the entire cake is pink. The top right one is Hello Kitty! Okay, I want this one because growing up I had always been a Hello Kitty fan and still am.
Awww, isn’t the Lady Bug Cake just so cute!? I love the details of the dots on the back and the cute smile. It will also make you smile. The top right cake is a Spring Time cake from the green, pink, and yellow pastel color. If you love chocolate, then the bottom right cake looks awesome. There’s two pieces of dark chocolate on top and drizzled with lots of dark chocolate with blueberries here and there.
