is the place to be if you’re on the island. If you’re a sweets person like myself and happen to be in Catalina, it’s a perfect to indulge while enjoying the great beach water and the island life. What I enjoy the most is that most places I travel to has a candy shop nearby. The candy store tradition lives on even though you can get a huge box of candy at Costco, Target, or Walmart. There’s something about candy stores that makes you feel all happy and kiddish inside. Who does’t like checking out all the different types of candy and the hard to see ones too.You may pay a little more for candy but when you leave the store with a bag of candy it makes you smile.
When it’s time to pay, you’ll pass right near the baked goods.
Look at the size of these cinnamon buns! You’ll have to pass these yummy treats in order to pay…
There’s even a window area where the taffy is being kneaded by a machine, stretching itn out to the right consistency.
If you love candy apples then you’ll see that there’s no shortage of them.

There are many Salt Water Taffy at your fingertip.
They have full of salt water taffy, throw back candy like AbbaZabba, Coca Cola Tins, Jelly Beans, Jaw Breakers and many candy you can think of.
There’s a bunch of Jelly Bean flavors you can just scoop up and toss in the candy bag.
There are many ice cream cones to choose from such as sugar waffle cones dipped with chocolate and topped with sprinkles, waffle bowls, regular sugar sugar cone, cone, and bowl.
There’s even an ice cream section where they serve Dryers Ice Cream. Don’t feel bad if you’re staring down the ice cream selection and also the baked goods.
They even have caramel apple samples! They were so delicious and was packed with caramel and crunchy candy toppings.
“G”got the Peanut Butter and I just had to get the Cookie Dough. Ihave tried a different brand with the same flavor and loved it so i wanted to try the Dryers Brand. I was pretty disappointed as it wasn’t as flavorful as the other ice cream brand but I did enjoy the peanut butter. There were ribbons of peanut butter!
The front of the shop was crowded with youngsters as they were enjoying their ice cream. We walked a little˜past an area and found a spot to enjoynour ice cream. Right next to it was the Women’d Club of some sort wine tasting event. We were people watching as they were sipping on wine and eating a small platter of cheese and crackers.
So stop on by to Catalina Island and visit this shop and feed your sweet cravings. It’s a pretty big size candy store.
