Happy Monday, I know many are not looking forward to it so I decided to do a post about dark chocolates to at least lift the mood. As a chocolate lover myself, I have tried many different kinds and wanted to share my thought on a specific brand of dark chocolate.
I wasn’t always a fan of dark chocolate. When I was younger, I would avoid anything dark chocolate. The bitter taste of it was what made me avoid it. Milk chocolate or white chocolate (not even chocolate anyways…) was my top choice. The creamier the better.
Ever since I started drinking coffee, I noticed my taste buds has changed and started enjoying bitter things. I loved the dark rich aroma of coffee and the bitter taste which probably helped me enjoy dark chocolate as well. What I love about dark chocolate is you actually taste the chocolate. Milk chocolate just seems like the real taste of chocolate is diluted.
I tried the Lindt 85% Dark Chocolate and was instantly my favorite. Some may think it’s too bitter but I love it. If I can find the 90% I will get some. I tried it a while back but I need to check out the market once I’m finished with my chocolate stash.
