Viva Las Vegas!

Over the weekend I visited my friend “W” in Vegas. Well it was more like Nevada since we first met up in China Town for some yummy noddles at a place called Monta Ramen. The weather was usually around 90-105! Can you believe it was that hot? I even heard it’s monsoon season now. I’ll be reviewing the board game shop as well as the Ramen and Pizza joint we went to this week and link it to this page.

Our friends introduced us to a cool board game shop called “Shall We Play?.” I was also introduced to a very cool DC Comics Deck Building Game which is very similar to Dominions. You choose your superhero such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, Green Lantern, or Cyborg and they all have their own special abilities so choose wisely. Wonder Woman was my first choice so I picked her and I was glad I did because her ability is awesome. It’s a simple game to set up and clean up is easy without all the little pieces. Explanation and concept is simple yet is full of fun with a group of friends.

The pizza joint we went for dinner was Sammy’s Woodfire Grill. We all wanted something healthy so we tried this place out since our friends suggested it. For something light the thin crust pizza is a must and also their salads.

Since we haven’t had a lot of fruits on the trip we stopped by Smith’s and got this fruit platter! Yummy

I suddenly had an interest in crocheting so I bought a bunch of yarns and hooks from Wal-Mart. My goal is to make cute dolls out of yarn and share with you all. Here are some stuff I worked on over the weekend. I’ve only started crocheting since Friday and was impressed with myself on how I was able to make chains and single crochets. I’m very excited and hope I can really improve in the next few days, Practice is key so I’m willing to keep trying.

I just remembered…

I haven’t been posting anything about my trip to Yellowstone and Zion National Park lately. I’ll make a note of that to post it this week. I’ve been so distracted from all the other restaurant eats and product reviews.

Have a great rest of the week everyone!
