I’ve been in need for a blender for the longest and when I was browsing through Target’s kitchen appliance aisle, I saw the Kitchenaid Handheld Blender model KHB1231ER for only $34.99 and the size is perfect for a tiny kitchen. I couldn’t wait to go home and try it out.
Included in the box is the mixing cup with measurements, a lid for the cup, the blender blade attachment, and the body of the handheld blender. The blender has a powerful DC motor and allows you to use 2 speeds. I was sure to wash it thoroughly before I used it since there may be some dirty materials on it.
I wanted to make some homemade mayo and was the perfect time to test this guy out. I attached the blender blade and plugged in the power. As I held it, I was surprised to notice that it was heavier than expected which is a good thing so you have more control over it. I was worried that the egg and mixtures would fly all over the place, but the measuring cup was deep enough so that wouldn’t happen.
The blade looked strong and the whole blender was very well made. Just by holding the device felt like it was study and made with great quality materials. I thought I got a good bang for my bucks.
Kitchenaid Handheld Blender is also great for making sauces, dips, smoothies, and much more. I’ll be sure to have cooking projects that involves the use of this to see just what else it can do.
