I don’t go to Kabuki Restaurant often but when I do, I enjoy the dishes they have to offer. I’m not veteran at sashimi or sushi eating, but I thought this place is good. My friends don’t think so since they’re more of the sushi guru. They tell me and they can tell the quality isn’t great as other sushi joint. Well I believe them when they say that since Kabuki Restaurant IS a chain restaurant.
The Spicy Tuna Roll is one of my favorite because I just love the spicy kick to the roll. One of my other favorite is the Spicy Lotus Roll which is also spicy like the Spicy Tuna Roll, but what makes this one dangerous is the topped jalapeno slices! I especially like the crunch from the fried lotus that’s topped on the roll.
The Alaskan Roll is also a tasty one which is baked salmon on top of a California Roll. Dragon Roll will impress everyone since it literally looks like a dragon, but don’t worry, it’s not dragon you’re eating but eel. People ask what eel tastes like and I think it tastes like chicken. I guess that might be cliché since EVERYTHING tastes like chicken. But I seriously think it does. It just doesn’t have the texture of chicken that’s for sure.
It was my first time having deep fried ice cream and I was just amazed at how the ice cream isn’t melted! You’ll feel like you’re eating at the fair even though you’re in a restaurant setting.
