Hello everyone happy Wednesday! I just came back from my trip to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Zion and like I promised yesterday I’d post about the road trip to Jackson Hole Wyoming as well as posts about all the adventures we had! For this post I want to share about the road trip, the sights we saw while being on the road, and such =)
For the road trip, we had granola bars such as Nature Valley and the Kashi® Chewy Granola Bars, Chocolate Almond & Sea Salt in which I’ll be reviewing in another post called road trip foods! We also made sure we bought lots of water but I think we were still lacking because you just don’t think about drinking because you’re always on the move and checking out the scenery. For sweets we got a big box of Tasty Brand Spooky Organic Fruit Snacks and other snacks like peanuts, chips and donuts and coffee for the morning. I made sure we got some 5–hour ENERGY and my Starbucks energy drink.

“G” and my friend “T” took turns driving. I couldn’t drive the Yukon since it is such a big vehicle. Vegas was busy as we passed by on a Friday night. We were driving through Arizona when it was pitch black, and we stopped at a gas station in Utah. Many parts of Utah was dark so there wasn’t much to see. The sun was quickly rising as we finally reached Idaho.
As we were driving through Idaho, all you see was green field and green everything. If you look at the picture above you can see the hay is green! Have you ever seen green hay before!? I was so amused by it because I never really thought how hay is just dried up grass and then turns yellow.
You won’t believe it but we even stopped at a McDonald for breakfast and coffee. We never go here and I have to say I’m a bit ashamed….but wow the coffee, the hash brown, and the Bacon, Egg & Cheese McGriddles was quite tasty.
Then tada…we finally made it to Jackson Hole Wyoming. I sure love this place. If I can live anywhere in the US it would be here. I just love the small town feel with art galleries, friendly people, family owned businesses, and you have nature all around you. What’s not to love? I even spoke to one of the Park Rangers and I asked how she was doing. Her response, “Great! What’s not to love about a place like this. You are surrounded by nature.”
Even after coming to Jackson Hole for the past 4 years, we never bothered to check out the visitor’s center so we decided to finally check it out.
My advice when you go to a national park is to visit all the visitor’s center. You will learn so much about the history and the wildlife.
I just admire the elk antler.
There’s just so much more to come so stick around =D But before I go, if you could live anywhere in the states where would it be?
