While I was at the Ranch, we stopped by this beautiful winery called Ironstones Vineyards, which is located in Murphys CA and is family owned. I did not expect this area to have so much winery and wine tasting places but you’ll be surprised. Murphys CA is actually known as the “Next Napa Valley” and is the heart of the Gold Rush Country.

The trees, flowers, and the surrounding is stunning as the fall colors are present on the tree leaves, pots of plants are full of color, and you’ll just admire the natural beauty, which is what this family owned vineyard wanted to emphasis on.
There were many pumpkins before you enter the winery, just in time for fall.
The vineyard offers Wine Club for members only, hold events such as meetings, weddings, and even has their own museum which I’ll share in a later post.
As you begin your wine tasting and taste one wine after another, there are chocolate chips for you to eat to cleanse your palette so you can appreciate the complex and flavors of the wine.
Aren’t these wine glasses beautiful? The staff here was very nice and suggested a variety of wines to taste.
We tried many different red wines. I’m not a fan of dry wines but I learn to appreciate the flavors. I ended up buying a wine bottle called Obsession which is white wine and sweet. It tastes great on its own but I can imagine it will taste amazing with dessert.
My nail color almost matches the wine color!

I never used to like mustard but now I love it. I was introduced to many different variety of mustard like honey dijon, spicy, wasabi, and sweet.
If you’re hungry for lunch or just had too much to drink, there’s a deli here to soak up the alcohol or to feed your hunger.
Awww, isn’t this cat so cute!? He or she was in front of the vineyard just snoozing. It was also nice nought to let us pet it but eventually walked away. Oh, cat logic.
