Iron Horse Bar And Grill is located at 711 Scott St W Gardiner, MT 59030 which sits right next to the Yellowstone river. The restaurant is on a big deck and as you are crossing the hwy 89 bridge over the Yellowstone River, you can see it. They serve lunch and dinner only during May-October. Luckily we were able to go since we went in late September.
As we drove by this place after getting to know Gardiner, we just had to go there for dinner. Parking was difficult to find since the parking in just a tiny little area behind the restaurant. Cars were already leaving the parking since it was full so that was our queue to park elsewhere.
When we got in, we weren’t greeted right away but eventually someone assisted us and took us to the back porch area over looking the Yellowstone river. The view outside was just amazing until you spot the graffiti under the bridge. Non the less, it was still a great spot. Now it was time to try out their food and see if the view stood up to the standard.
