Hokkaido Seafood Buffet is a pretty good buffet spot. I was quite skeptical since buffets aren’t usually known for good food. But I paid extra attention to the quality of the food and thought they were fresh. I didn’t even get a migraine from the MSG so perhaps they didn’t use much? I’m quite sensitive so I get it right after consuming MSG.
I added a ton of veggies on my plate like the stir fried green beans which were soft and flavorful, the stir fried broccoli, cauliflower, baby corn, and mushrooms, and the deep-fried kabocha squash slice.
There’s a seafood section where you can get clams, sushi rolls, and fish. I didn’t touch any of the seafood since I’m too skeptical of it. I added lots of yummy stir fried veggies to my plate and also some chicken selection.
The dessert selection was quite large as well. There were coffee pudding which was okay, self-serve ice cream, star-shaped pineapple cookie, roll cake which was (meh…), sesame balls, and jello.
I really enjoyed the fresh watermelon. It was perfect for the hot weather.
The fruit selection was quite large as there were fresh and crispy watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, grapes, canned fruits (unfortunately), and fresh veggies for a good salad.
I would definitely come back when I have a much bigger appetite to try out their other food items.
