Hello everyone! It’s finally Friday….hip hip horray! I am so excited for this weekend because we’ll be having wonderful sunny weather here in SoCal. Around 80 degrees to be exact. Also, my friends and I are planning to go to the OC Fair Grounds and hopefully go for another hike on Sunday.
Mornings are always slightly chilly so what better way to stay warm but to have hot chocolate coffee cappuccino!
I enjoy cappuccino when I go to a coffee shop because it isn’t overly sweet or sweet at all compared to a mocha latte, caramel latte, or the fraps. Cafe latte is also one of my other favorites as well since I’m not a big fan of sweet drinks.
My mornings aren’t complete unless I have something warm in the morning, and it has to either be hot chocolate or coffee so below is a recipe I use all the time!
Healthy Hot Chocolate Coffee Cappuccino
2 Cups of Silk Almond Milk (Contains no Carrageenan)
2 packets of Truvia
Aerolatte Milk Frother
1 tbs Instant Coffee
1 ts Coco Powder (Nestle Toll House)
Directions: Boil almond milk until it bubbles. Pour 1/3 milk into a tall glass to froth and pour the other 1/3 into the mug you’re going to use. You want to use the Aerolatte Milk Frother and place it almost to the bottom the tall glass at a slight angle. The milk will begin to foam and slowly bring the wand to the top of the glass, and keep repeating it down and up until the foam is thick.
Pour 1/3 of strong coffee into the mug, pour 1/3 almond milk into the mug, and finally pour the foamy almond milk on top and enjoy!
Enjoy the coffee with many of your favorite breakfast items!
