Hi friends! So remember when I said to stay tuned to find out what happened when “G” and I bought the Book of Mormon broadway show and how it came with a Restaurant.com coupon? I bright it up over the weekend and decided to try it out . We browsed through the Restaurant.com to pick and choose the selected restaurants in the area and decided on Gyro N Kabob. We printed out the certificate but when we got to the restaurant it stated that they were no longer taking any certificates. We were so disappointed but we went in non-the-less since the reviews were pretty good.
Gyro N Kabob is a small little restaurant serving Middle Eastern Cuisines and is a mom and pops kind of shop. The restaurant looks big because of the mirrors inside, there’s a sofa where you can just relax and watch TV, and is located in the same plaza where there’s a Stater Bro’s Market. The food was delicious and always on a lookout for great Middle Eastern restaurants. What I love about the food is the spices and all the different flavors. There was this green sauce which was great on everything like the waiter said. It’s sour, tangy, and a bit spicy.
I ordered the Boneless Chicken which is served with chicken pieces with a blend of their special spices.
“G” ordered the Koobideh plate which comes with Two skewers of the thick and juicy ground beef with a some special seasonings.
