Happy Wednesdayall! Hope you are all having a wonderful week so far. While in Jackson WY, dinner was quickly approaching. Roaming around town and seeing what was there was a choice but we stumbled upon Kazumi sushi restaurant. I don’t recall this restaurant after the past 3 years I’ve been going to Jackson so G”, “T” and I decided to try. Packing was plenty which was in the back next to a sandwich shop. To my surprise, there was a lot of people already at the restaurant dining. From the outside it looks empty and dark but when you go in you can help but notice the wall art of the cherry blossoms and the lighting. Plus there were cool faux fire lamps.
I was sad that the miso soup was extra as an appetizer. Many sushi restaurants I’ve been too includes the soup with your order but it was cold outside so miso soup sounded really good.
I couldn’t decide what to get since the sushi menu looked awesome and I have been craving sushi. They offer Sashimi, Nigiri sushi, and Inari which is rice stuffed fried tofu patch. But in the end I just ordered the Teriyakidon grilled chicken breast. The presentation was beautiful
“G” can’t have seafood but luckily there were non-seafood items. He got the Katsudon chicken and said that the sauce was what really made the dish.
I just had to take a picture of the wall because of the beautiful painting of the cherry blossom. Cherry blossoms are my favorite trees and would love to see the real thing someday.
The interior was very trendy and hip. There were faux fire lamps with lantern and green lights coming from the glass walls.
