El Rocoto

I never tried Peruvian until my bf took me here when we first started dating 🙂 He told me about one of his favorite dishes from this place. The plate has fries covered with a certain kind of sauce and is served with rice and meat. I thought it was interesting that a Peruvian dish would have fries because it seems like an American dish minus the sauce over it.I don’t have any pictures but I do remember my dish was delicious.It was called the Lomo saltado.That is just be another reason to go back to try out their food again and take pictures this time.
