Happy October friends! Now that it’s October I thought it would be the perfect time to share my recent visit to the park Disneyland Halloween Time! I went here maybe two weeks ago and I was shocked but happy that I got to see all the Halloween decoration. Can you believe all the Halloween decorations was up I believe after Labor Day in September!?.
After “G”, “K” and I roamed around Disney California Adventure, we decided to hop over to the main attraction. Even the ticket line is decorated with your favorite Disney characters as a pumpkin.
Here’s the Mickey Mouse Garden right when you pass the ticket line. I haven’t seen this area for years. It’s nice to see it again.
I just love all the autumn colors surrounding the Disney and Mickey statue.
Also, be on the lookout for characters. I was able to snap a pic of Ariel but not all the other characters. My friend “K” mentioned that during Disney Halloween time, there’s a lot more villains out and about. Cruella Deville was out looking for Dalmatians and there were other villains as well.
Main Street is one of the main attractions as there’s the big ‘ol Mickey Mouse Pumpkin head at the center of Main Street. Gosh I don’t even remember the last time I was here. so long ago but was happy to see that the Halloween decor was already up! The center of Main Street is so crowded as many park goers are trying to get their epic Disney Halloween time moment taken through a picture.
Be on the lookout for yummy Halloween treats at the park like this “Holiday Cookie”. Now that I think about it, why would they call Halloween a holiday? I thought holidays are related to days like Thanksgiving and Christmas? There are also cotton candy everywhere that has colors just like the Candy Corn! White, yellow, and orange.
Since it’s been so long since I’ve been to Disneyland, I thought I should get a pin for my collection and also the Minnie Headband. =)
The Rides At Disneyland
“G” and I really wanted to go to Star Tours to check out what’s new about Star Tours and the new changes are awesome!
Be sure to check out Space Mountain because the theme is the spooky Ghost Galaxy. The images actually scared me haha. But another thing scared me which was the long time. The estimated wait time was 50 minutes but it actually took us maybe an hour and 30 minutes?
The Astro Blasters are in major need of a facelift. The person in front of us had to get out since the cart wasn’t working. There’s no Halloween theme to it but it’s always a fun ride no matter what.
Indiana Jones is one of my favorite rides and it was so worth the wait. Plus we were under the shade so it was perfect to cool off that way. I really enjoyed looking at the details of the ruins and try to avoid the “traps” within the ruins.
I really wanted to check out the Disney Haunted mansion but the line was just too long and not enough time in a day to do everything. As you can see on the picture above, people are just taking pictures of the decorations but not in line because it was pretty much impossible.
Also when it’s almost time for the firework show, it gets pretty impossible to get anywhere around the park so “G” and I decided to go back to Disney California Adventure to see how it looks at night. Be sure to do so because it looks amazing.
Here are some Disneyland facts I learned. So Disney himself intended the part to not be able to be seen in just one day. There are stay cats roaming the park and they know it.
