I remember going to a Curry House in Little Tokyo Los Angeles for a school reunion combined with my birthday in 2011. I had no idea Japanese had curry as well and I was shocked at how similar it was to Korean curry. I didn’t know what to order but my friend suggested that their corn soup was amazing. I just shared the soup with my friend and ordered the Chicken Katsu plate.
After my many visit here, I decided to break from the usual and order something new. The Deluxe Katsu Curry which is curry pilaf wrapped in egg topped off with deep fried shrimp & their curry sauce sounded appetizing so I ordered it.
I wanted to break from my usual Chicken Katsu order and get the Gratin Plate. I really liked it but I thought they had too much rice underneath the gratin as a filler.
All you get is a tiny scoop of green tea ice cream but dessert sure is tasty right after a warm din
