Happy Thursday everyone! After a long first day in Yellowstone we were pretty much exhausted so we had to stop somewhere for dinner. The day was filled with lots of driving, animal sighting, short walks here and there and scenery watching.
Two years ago we came to Cowboys Lodge And Grille Montana and my friend “T” wanted something like soup. I can clearly recall my dinner which was the stew so I suggested we go here. It was a busy night for this place because a lot of Chinese tourists were in town and there’s not much options for dinner in Gardiner. Not that we chose this place because it was our only choice. This restaurant dishes up some delicious hardy strews, pulled pork sandwiches, and elk burgers fit for a cowboy with a big appetite.
Check out their site as there are really awesome pictures of bisons in the snow, the big horn sheep, and pictures of the restaurant and also the lodge.
We were so hungry we took the next available spot which was a bench right in front of the widow for a great view.
Cowboys Lodge And Grille is located at 303 2nd St S, Gardiner, Mt 59030.
