It’s Friday! Something we should all be happy for. But there’s another reason to be excited! Drum roll please…. Cerritos Gen KBBQ is now open in Cerritos CA on 11472 South St Cerritos, CA 90703 which is right next to an 85 degree bakery! Convenient right?
My friend told me about this new location and now it’s finally opened. It’s literally right next to the mall and you will notice exactly where’s it’s located because the whole parking lot is PACKED! There’s also a Target across the street from it as well as the Cerritos Promenade, in case you can’t find parking there.
It’s nice that’s it’s closer to home even though I don’t mind going to the one located in Tustin and Newport since those locations are big and trendy.

I would suggest getting the crispy sesame chicken which is served cooked and crispy when you get it! You can’t go wrong with mushrooms & vegetables. Shrimp is so – so but I get it once in a while. Hawaiian Steak, Garlic Chicken with Jalapeno Cheese Fondue, and the Pork Belly is some of my favorites. Which ones are yours?
