Canyon Lodge Restaurant is located at Canyon Village North Rim Dr Yellowstone National Park, WY 82190 which is hard to miss because there’s a visitor’s center, a general store, and another restaurant right next door. They were doing some constructions on the parking pavement and inside the restaurant, but once you step inside, you will feel so relaxed with the pictures of wildlife on the walls and a lovely fireplace in the middle of the restaurant.
They serve American food from prime ribs to trouts. If you’re a real meat-eater, there’s a bison and elk meatloaf! There’s also chicken plates, pasta plates, vegetarian plates, and mouth-watering appetizers like onion rings.
We just finished a long hike so we worked up an appetite. We happened to be driving pass the Canyon Junction so we decided to try this place out for lunch.
Lunch was served like a buffet where you could choose from salads, soups, biscuits, and many other items. I decided to get something a little healthy since it had been a while since I had my greens. The vegetable minestrone was warm and soothing and the salad was fresh and refreshing. I felt like I was ready to take on another hike!
