Brodards is located at 9100 Trask Ave Garden Grove, CA 92844 and this is about my fourth time to this place. I went here back in and I had such a great experience here every time I decided I wanted to go again for dinner.
My favorite part of returning to the same place is that I get to try my favorite dishes and the most difficult is trying to order something new even though it sounds tasty. I have to break out of that habit and try to get something new every time. I’m just afraid that my dish will be disappointing and that will just ruin my day 🙁
As an appetizer, the spring rolls are a popular choice. I really enjoy their Grilled Pork Spring Rolls – Nem Nöôùng Cuoán 4.50 so that’s what we ordered and also, in order to break out of the ordinary, I ordered the beef spring rolls (which I can’t find on the menu online!). The first bite was not a pleasant one for the beef spring roll as it tasted sour and was probably not fresh. The possibility of getting the order returned for a different spring roll was so close, but decided to just finish the pork roll. Never again will I order the beef spring roll!
As the entree, the Shaken Beef – Boø Luùc Laéc 14.95 sounded appetizing and I knew I would like it since I had a sample of it the last time I went since my friend ordered it. The dish was presented beautifully but I expected there to be more meat on the plate. Theside of salad was tiny, the little pieces of the beef was delicious, and I did enjoy the sauteed onions and mushrooms in the soy sauce.
