Orange County is the place to be if you’re looking for a variety of Vietnamese restaurants but one in particular is getting all the attention. There are two locations for Brodards, where one is a much fancier restaurant whereas the other one is the original which is not so fancy but the food is much more delicious.
My friend first mentioned about this place and had told me they’re known to have amazing spring rolls and she knew I LOVE spring rolls. I was barely introduced to Vietnamese cuisine just few years ago and it was until last year I tried many different kind of Vietnamese cuisines. This was my second time at Brodards for my birthday celebration since my friend couldn’t attend my 1st birthday celebration because of her work schedule.
I was craving those delicious spring rolls so I ordered the pork patty rolls. While browsing through Yelp pictures for Brodards, I saw the duck roasted salad so I told myself that is what I would order. I tried duck once and thought it had a gamey taste but I still liked it. I decided to give duck another try and it was delicious addition to this salad. We also ordered the Fried Rice that was served on a pineapple which I found very cute!
I think Brodards offers much better spring rolls compared to Ha Long Vietnamese Cuisine in Irvine.
