For you beer lovers out there, Bottle Logic Brewing is the place to begin your beer tasting adventure. It’s located at a business park which were all closed by the time we got to the brewery so there’s plenty of parking spaces. Just make sure you keep an eye out for lights and a lot of people. But it’s definitely hard to miss when you see a crowd enjoying their beer and BOTTLE LOGIC BREWING logo lit up!
Luckily I had “G” and my friends who love beer and know what they like but still, when you go there, there’s so many choices that you’ll need assistance on deciding what to try. The beer menu is full of options and I was overwhelmed with the choices.
Our buddies decided to get a flight which is basically sampling multiple beer choices. We all decided to try “The Constant” which comes with 5 beer is these small cute beer glasses.
Once you get your flight of beer samples, either grab a table (if there’s any left), or just stand and hang out in the back room and beer taste on the handmade barrel tables! The warehouse in the back is awesome since there are aged barrels all stacked up and also bags of ingredients. It’s your own little tour to see what’s needed to make delicious beer.
If you’re lucky, you can grab the Barrel of Thrones seat! Or take an epic picture of you sitting on it and then letting other people feel like you’re the king or queen 🙂
“The Constants” comes with Hanamachi (Japanese Beer), Lagerithm (such a clever name), Tattered Prince, Mother Heifer (Milk Stout), She Shot First, & Pumpkin Ale. I’ll go one by one and share what I thought of it. The staff suggested we taste by the order it was served and I can taste why that was.
The Hanamachi was light and very carbonated which I really like. The after taste is a hint of barley which reminded me of my favorite Korean Barley tea.
Lagerithm was also quite tasty as there was no bitter after taste, but was less carbonated.
Tattered Prince which is a FRENCH STYLE SAISON was quite hoppy from the Sorachi Ace hops, fresh ground ginger, coriander, orange peel, and then fermented.. I found that out I don’t like hops when I tried beer samples at Snake River Brewery in Jackson Wy. Try this beer with fish, salads, poultry and funky cheeses. It might actually taste good.
She Shot First is a pale ale which is made of malted wheat and Pacific North West hops. It was too bitter and hoppy for my taste. This beer pairs well with seafood, salads, sorbet, and fried foods.
The Mother Heifer is a stout brewed with lactose sugar, caramel malt and oats and taste just like coffee but think and creamy. It was one of my favorite and is perfect to pair well with chocolate, desserts, cheese.
Pumpkin Ale was my other favorite because it had a slight pumpkin after taste. It’s light with no bitter after taste. I can imagine this beer will taste really good with a slice of pumpkin pie or Thanksgiving dinner.
“K” ordered the “Beer For The Cure” and you can probably guess which one that is. It’s the beer with the pink hue and I have to say this was one of the tastiest beer I’ve ever had. The beer has a very fruity taste from the prickly pear and watermelon which was more like wine to me.
Here’s a closer look of these cool beer cups. They do offer other products such as the beaker glass, growlers, shirts, and other cool stuff.
After we tried the first round of samples, we headed over to a BBQ joint called Blake’s Place BBQ not too far from here since the food trunks never came 🙁 Bottle Logic Brewery only serve beer but has food trunks come so customer can eat as well, but that day, they didn’t arrive. Instead they did have free delicious pizza! After we had dinner at the BBQ place, we headed back to Bottle Logic and the crowd was even bigger so it was a good idea to just get beer to go in these awesome growlers. And now, if you have a growler, you can go back and buy beer which is cheaper to get filled.
