Hi friends! Hope you all had a great holiday filled with great fun and quality time with loved ones, friends, good eats, and a wonderful New Year! I haven’t been posting as much as I wanted to but here’s just a few highlights of the holidays.

On a cold morning, our friends and I decided to take a hike (pun intended) to Holy Jim Falls where we saw fresh snow! Stay tuned for more pictures.

Jalapeno poppers[/caption]
Our friend "K" makes this amazingly delicious Jalapeno poppers, but this was a special one because it was used with Jalapeno bacon! Plus there was a ton of jalapenos in it plus other goodness and baked to perfection. That's why we needed the big bowl of Frito Lay Chips.

I don't think I've ever had a bagel sandwich before but here's my first Bruegger's Spinach & Cheddar Omelet Sandwich!

I tried these awesome Fish Tacos from Tustin Brewery and let me tell ya, I was pretty surprised at how good it actually was!

"G" and I went to a new Build-Your-Own-Pizza at a place called PizzaRev where they revvvv up your pizza order. Stay tuned as always for my review!

Now that the days are getting colder, "G" thought of a great idea to grab dinner at BCD Tofu House. Mmm nothing beats the cold than warm tofu soup bubbling in the stone pot.

New Years Eve dinner[/caption]
Our friend "R" hosted a game night for New Years Eve so we had turkey for dinner and delicious roasted Brussels Sprouts and Carrots, mashed potatoes and gravy, and stuffing!! It was like Thanksgiving all over again....yummers.

Formula D board game[/caption]
During New Years Eve our friends and I played this cool complicated looking board game called Formula D board game which we actually finished! We originally wanted to do two laps around the board but by then, our cars would've crashed from all the damage.

DC Deck-building game, Wits & Wagers, Star Wars X-Wings, Dominion, Ticket To Ride[/caption]
Our friends have endless choices for board games as you can tell! DC Deck-building game, Wits & Wagers, Star Wars X-Wings, Dominion, Ticket To Ride, and "G" just bought a pretty popular game called Smash Up Game which I highly recommend because it's great for when you have friends over and things can be really competitive once you start it.

Call Of Duty Mega Blocks[/caption]
To walk off our breakfast, we headed to Target to check out any after holiday deals. There were so many left over holiday stuff like cookie mix, broken candy canes, chocolate caramel boxes, and torn up ornaments, but luckily there was this cool Call Of Duty Mega Blocks Odin Space Station Strike which is around $40+ on Amazon.com but we found it for about $25! What a deal right? I was so determined to build this 695 Mega Block and we did. This was such a fun experience looking at the diagram and trying to build it piece by piece.

Christmas Village[/caption]
Isn't this Christmas Village neat? There are actual models that moves! I wish I could have one of my own but these can be really expensive because they are collectors items and some of them are limited.
